What the orb
really is

The orb isn’t something Leo found. It’s something he carries. Leo is autistic. His senses are turned all the way up. Some days are overwhelming, some days are luminous, and many days are both. The same mind that feels this world so strongly is the one that builds whole worlds of its own.

The Imagination Explorer was made to help children, and the grown-ups beside them, see autism not as a puzzle to be solved but as a different way of being in the world. Not a story about what Leo can’t do. A story about everything he can.

Turned all the way up

Buzzing lights, scratchy labels, three people talking at once. Leo’s senses take everything in without a filter. The hush of his headphones isn’t hiding. It’s how he makes room for wonder.

The deep dive

When Leo loves something, he loves it completely: every fact, every detail, every drawing of it he can make. That focus isn’t a fixation to break. It’s the engine of every realm he builds.
